Jacky Edes
Physiotherapist

Jacky qualified from St Thomas's Hospital in London in 1979. Following graduation Jacky worked for 18 months at Kingston General Hospital gaining general experience in all fields of physiotherapy.

The next 3 years were spent working in Canada, initially in a hospital out patients department and then into the private practice department dealing many with musculo skeletal injuries.

On returning from Canada, Jacky worked a 6 month period for a locum at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London working closely with Mr Bailey a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in shoulder rehabilitation.

In 1985 Jacky went into private practice in London until 1991 when the family moved to Hong Kong for a period of 7 years. During this time Jacky managed a satellite Clinic for a private orthopaedic practice, specialising in sports injuries, women's health and general musculo skeletal problems.

On returning to the UK in 1999 Jacky joined Eileen Price and her team at the Maidenhead Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic as a musculo skeletal physiotherapist also running pilates classes and private pilates sessions for our patients and other clients.




Vikas Bajaj
Physiotherapist

Vikas qualified as physiotherapist in 2002 and continued further education with an MSc in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy in 2005 from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. He went on to gain a wealth of experience working with the NHS for 4 years, achieving the post of highly specialist Musculoskeletal physiotherapist/Team leader. He then worked with Royal Air Force sports injuries and rehab clinic for 3 years where he treated complex trauma, chronic pain, sports injuries which included working with elite athletes, rugby players, triathletes and parachute jumpers.

Vikas has achieved numerous post graduate physiotherapy qualifications including additional courses on Acupuncture, dry needling, Pilates, Muscle re-education, Soft tissue and joint Manipulation, Strapping while continuing to update his knowledge on a regular basis.

Vikas adopts a biomechanical assessment approach to identify the root causes of injuries. He believes in a combination of hands on techniques to reduce pain and improve movement in short-term, together with strong emphasis on treating underlying cause with preventative and self help exercise based rehabilitation so that gain through treatment can be maintained for long-term benefit.




John Manders
Physiotherapist

Following a Sports Science degree at Kingston University and a semester in the USA at Grand Valley State University, John began his working life as a fitness instructor for Holmes Place Health Club in Maidenhead. From here he developed an interest in sport and exercise related injuries which lead the way into a Physiotherapy degree at Brunel University. He then completed his Junior Rotational posts at Wycombe Hospital gaining a wide variety of experience in the many differing aspects of the profession. He then specialised in musculoskeletal outpatients as a Senior Physio working in the hospital, GP practices and leisure centre in the Wycombe District. During this time he also gained experience working with the men's 1st team at Marlow Rugby Club.

John has also gained a wide variety of experience working with the Police in a centre rehabilitating officers who have sustained injuries back into duties.

He is also a trained acupuncturist and may use this as part of treatment where necessary.

ie Cottrell
Physiotherapist

Jennie completed a masters in physiotherapy from King's College London in 2002. After 3 years in the NHS she moved into private practice at the Barclays Headquarters in Canary Wharf. She has also managed the physiotherapy team at Wescombe park rugby club, a National 2 side for 3 years. Jennie has a keen interest in sports injuries using a variety of manual techniques including acupuncture. She also has considerable experience in postural and ergonomic injuries from working in the corporate environment.




Ros Mandeville

Ros Mandeville is a qualified teacher, psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist. She runs relaxation and stress management classes, weight loss programmes for RBWM, is a member of the NHS directory of alternative practitioners and a senior member of the General Hypnotherapy Register.
